Jim Hagaman - Biography
Jim Hagaman (aka Key Dog)
Keyboard and Vocals
Originally from Minnesota, Jim now lives in Spring Hill, Tennessee. He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, the Air Force Academy, and several senior Military Brass events, and made a guest appearance with the Air Force’s elite performing group. Jim has served as a worship leader for both traditional and contemporary church services, and currently plays in his church band. Prior to gigging with bands, Jim was performing in musical theater starting at age 12 playing Winthrop in The Music Man and has been doing shows on and off for 35 years. Jim has a passion for writing lyrics and music and started 23 years ago when he wrote his first song for his bride. Jim can really associate with the Bad Dog in our logo wearing sunglasses, since he [Jim, not the dog served in the Secret Service details for both President George H. W. Bush and President Clinton and was involved in many Special Forces missions.
Jim is an honors graduate from the Air Force Leadership Academy and holds a science degree in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He is a vastly decorated veteran from the Air Force including two medals for heroism.
Equipment
Jim’s currently Bad Doggin’ on a full 88 key Yamaha S90ES keyboard which is being direct injected (D.I.) into the sound system through a Stewart Audio ADB-4 active direct box.
Motorcycle
Jim’s been riding over 25 years on various street, dirt, and quad motorbikes. He currently rides a Harley Davidson 2005 Road King Firefighters special edition.
